So this past weekend was the big BYU Utah game. Bryce was very excited about it because he was able to get 2nd row tickets! How did he get 2nd row tickets? Well, we made a little deal back in September (since tickets were already going for $200) that if Bryce stopped drinking caffeine until the game and gave plasma to pay for the ticket that he could go. He actually came up with the deal, I just agreed to it. So I made this poster for him...we thought it might help him get on tv.

He did get on tv too, but not because of the poster. It was at the very beginning of the game and was probably because he and Craig were surrounded by red. And even though BYU lost Bryce still had fun at the game and giving plasma for a few months and not drinking Dr. Pepper was worth it.

Here's Bryce and Spencer before he left for the game. Spencer is in his BYU outfit. My little sisters actually got it for him from Gap, but because it is blue and white it is his official BYU outfit.

Me and Spencer before the game.

Spencer is now 7 weeks old today! He is such a good baby too. We had a couple of pretty bad nights last week when he woke up 5 or 6 times. But he was so tired one night and just wouldn't fall asleep so we left him in his crib hoping he would finally just cry himself to sleep. At first I really wanted to go and get him but I had to keep telling myself that he needs to learn to put himself to sleep. After a few minutes he did fall asleep and he has been sleeping great ever since! Last night he actually slept for 7 hours! It was great. He is also smiling a lot more, loves to go on walks and play on the floor, and seems to get bigger everyday!

Here is a picture I took of him this morning. I went in to get him and he was trying to get out of his pajamas! He must've thought it was his blanket and was trying to break free to move his arms. I thought it was kinda funny.

I also thought I would post this video of his little squeal. He is a very wiggly baby and loves to move his arms and kick his legs. It's a little long...I should've stopped it a lot sooner, but here is our baby Spencer.

6 weeks!

So Spencer is now 6 weeks old! He is really growing and is more alert and is even starting to smile at us a little. So since he is getting so big I figured I should post some new pictures. Here are a few that I took this past Sunday of him playing on the floor.

We had a family party with Bryce's family on Sunday. Spencer was a little fussy and we finally got him settled down with his Baby Einstein toy. Kylee was so cute and loved holding it up for him to see.

This is Spencer in his crib at about 3:00am. Bryce was trying to put him back to bed and he was wide awake! He took a video of it too that I thought was funny, but I'm having trouble loading it. So I'll post it sometime.

Spencer's Blessing Day

On Sunday we blessed our little Spencer. The church was pretty packed with all of our family and it was so nice to have everyone there. All of Bryce's family was able to come down and I had some cousins, siblings, my grandma, and my parents were also able to fly out for it. Bryce did such a great job and Spencer looked so cute in his little outfit, thanks to my sister Jessica for letting us borrow Benson's blessing outfit. Unfortunately we didn't get many pictures. It was raining like crazy, so we couldn't go outside and get family pictures with everyone. We went to my grandma's house to eat and then as we were taking a few pictures inside Spencer had a little blow out. He had a onesie on underneath the blessing outfit, so thankfully that saw most of the damage (don't worry Jess, the little that got on the outfit came out!). But that cut our photo taking a little short. And I only got a few pictures of Spencer and I...none with Bryce or of just Spencer. So I'll have to get some of the other pictures from family. But here are the ones I got.
After everyone left and Spencer was clean, fed, and happy we decided to put the three babies on my grandma's rocking chair. In the bottom two we decided to put Spencer's arms around his cousins...such a ladies man already. :)
During all the picture taking Spencer got a little hungry and thought his hand was Aislee's. And Aislee wasn't too happy about her hand being sucked on.

Happy Halloween!

For Halloween on Friday Matt and Chelsea and Paul, Molly, and the twins came over to make cookies and hang out. Mainly we just wanted to get the babies together so that we could take pictures of them. My mom bought their Halloween costumes and they all looked so cute. Aislee and Olivia were lady bugs and Spencer was a cow. Here are a few pictures from our photo shoot.

And here are just some other pictures from the night.

1- Paul with one of his little ladybugs 2 - Spencer and Aislee 3 - Chelsea patting the cow 4 - Spencer the cutest cow ever 5 - Olivia in her car seat 6 - Aislee asleep on the couch

This is a video of the babies. The twins were so calm and happy for pictures...Spencer on the other hand was not liking it at all.

After making cookies and taking pictures Bryce, Spencer, and I drove up to Salt Lake for a Murder Mystery Dinner with some friends. I had never been to one before but it was a lot of fun and the food was so good! So thanks Mike and Annie for putting it all together! It was great to get together and see everyone again.

More Pictures!

Here are some pictures from the last two weeks of Spencer. I've been meaning to post for a while but it seems like everytime I sit down to do it the baby will wake up from his nap or want to eat or something. Anyway, he is now three weeks old! My dad, little sisters (jenny and sarah), and older sister Jessica and her daughter Sabrina drove out here a few weeks ago to see all of the babies (my mom was already here). It was great to have so many people to hold Spencer for me while I cleaned or ate or showered or went to the bathroom! It is more of a challenge being alone all day with the baby to get everything done. Maybe I just hold him too much or something...but I would much rather hold him than clean the house anyway. =) While my family was out here my brother Paul blessed his two little girls. We were really glad we could go and made it on time so we didn't miss it! I am glad that for now we have 1:00pm church because getting everyone ready by 9:00am is a little difficult for us. Well, enough talk...here are the pictures!

This turned out a lot smaller than I wanted...oh well. Here is Spencer with my dad, Jenny, Sarah, Jessica, and my mom.

Sabrina giving her cousin Spencer kisses.

Molly, Aislee, Sabrina, Olivia, and Paul on the twins blessing day. They looked so cute in their dresses and with their headbands!

Mom and dad with the new grandkids. Spencer wasn't very happy at this point but still a cute picture.

Bryce trying to talk Spencer into burping for him...actually I am really not sure what he was doing but thought it would make a cute pic.

Spencer ready to go out in his car seat.

This is an outfit that his Grandma Stacey gave him and he looked so cute in it.

Bryce thought he looked like a thug in it...that is why he is making a mean looking face. He was trying to look thug like Spencer.

He was also trying to get Spencer to make a peace sign but obviously he wasn't very interested in doing so.

So there are some new pictures of our adorable little baby! We also had a cousin party/birthday party for me this past Saturday (I turned 23 on the 23rd!). I forgot to bring my camera and take pictures though...but it was a lot of fun. Matt's family (my sister Chelsea's husband) has a cabin up in the canyon and so we went there with all our cousins from my mom's side that are out here and ate some food and played games. Even with the dead squirrel on the couch we still had a good time! We will for sure have to do cousin parties more often and I'll be sure to take pictures next time.

One Week Old!

It is hard to believe that our baby was born a week ago! It seems like we've had him around forever. He is such a sweet little boy and although we get a lot less sleep now we absolutely love having him here. So here are a few pictures of our baby Spencer.

Dad and Spencer taking a nap in the hospital. So cute huh? I couldn't really get in a good position to take a better picture of this because I was in the bed and still not moving around very well.

Spencer had quite a few visitors!
1. Uncle Paul and Spencer 2. Aunt Chelsea squishing Spencer's chubby cheeks together 3. Grandma Barbara 4. Grandma Gaisford 5. Grandpa Glen 6. The Packham's (Bryce's sisters family) 7. Dad with baby Spencer 8. The Wright's (Bryce's brothers family) 9. Avery holding her new cousin

I thought this was such a cute video. Kelton was so excited to see his new baby cousin!

Getting ready to leave the hospital. He's crying because he hated the hospital and was ready to be home!

Hanging out on the couch with mom. I later had to change him into another outfit because I am apparently not fast enough yet at changing his diapers...
One week old! We had a little photo shoot this morning and I got one of him sneezing.
Eating his hand...he was getting a little hungry.

Pictures of Spencer

"Hello Everybody!" These were Spencer's first words to all of you.
He set a Guiness Book World Record by speaking on his first day!

Here are some long awaited (one day) pictures of Spencer. (Finally got his name) He's so cute and we are very excited to have him here. He was born officially at 10:54 AM and was 7lbs 7oz and 18 and 1/2 in. long. It is quite an experience to see your very own child enter the world. I recommend it to anyone! Kathleen will be able to go home on Thursday. Enjoy the pictures!

Kathleen just after she got her epidural. Believe it or not, she's really "happy" in this picture. The epidural was a good relief.

Moments after birth. You might be able to tell that he just did a chest pump with his arms! He's pretty excited for the BYU game on Saturday.

Spencer weighs 7lbs and 7ozs and is 18 1/2 in. long. You can see his cone head pretty well here. This is evidence that the aliens on Indiana Jones might just be underdeveloped baby's. His head has rounded out since.

The first bath. He wasn't too excited about this. But one thing is for sure, he's got really good lungs. He's ready to rise and shout!

This is a perfect view of Spencers cleft chin. He got that from Daddy! You can also see that they have tagged and branded him so he goes home with us.

No, Kathleen did not have triplets. This is a Spencer sandwich with Olivia and Aislee Bread. Spencer weighs about the same as his twin cousins at one day as they are at 6 weeks.

Spencer and his great-grandpa. Grandpa Gaisford was excited to meet his 11th great-grandchild and Spencer is excited to meet all his new friends here on earth.
