Happy Birthday Bryce!!

So today is Bryce's 25th birthday! He is getting so old, huh? We did a little surprise get together for him with some of our friends (his old roommates and friends from high school/freshman year and their spouses) on Sunday night. He thought we were going to my brothers house for dinner...but I did a pretty good job of keeping it a secret. I am not very good at lying to Bryce and so it was a huge accomplishment for me. Anyway, today has been a fun day. I was going to wake up early and make him some french toast for breakfast...but I cannot wake up anymore. So I just poured him a bowl of Raisin Bran cereal. After classes and football he came home and opened his presents. He actually opened his presents before I remembered to take pictures so I had him reenact it for me.

Opening the present...
New scriptures! And a Snickers!
After that we went out to dinner at Ruby River Steakhouse. This is Bryce's favorite and we can only go there once a year because it is pretty expensive. It was a goooood meal! Bryce got steak, of course, and I tried the BBQ chicken. Here are some pictures of Chelsea (my sister) eating my leftovers. She hadn't eaten dinner yet so I graciously offered her some food and she chowed down!
mmmmm...chicken.
She wasn't too happy about me taking pictures of her.
After we had dinner we came home and Chelsea, Paul, and Molly came over for some cake and Creamies! (this is when Chelsea ate my leftovers)
Here is Bryce with his cake and 25 candles.
Singing Happy Birthday to Bryce
Right after we sang happy birthday Bryce went back to the TV to finish watching the BYU game and hasn't moved since. He is actually still watching it right now. It is really close (BYU 66 UNM 67 with 2 minutes left) and he is getting pretty heated. He just said "Well obviously he is on offense you idiot!" haha...hopefully they will win so his birthday will be perfect!
Here is Bryce eating his cake and watching the game. Go BYU!
Coleman, my cousin, also came to say happy birthday and eat some cake. I hid behind the wall so I could take this picture without him knowing (he didn't want to be on the blog). I think he figured out what I was doing though. He got to take the rest of the cake back to the dorms with him. I figured it was better if the freshman boys ate the rest of it...not me. Because I would...eat all of it.

Happy Valentines Day!

So we're not very good at this blogging thing. Actually we just don't really have anything too exciting going on right now. And we are still really bad at taking pictures, even with our new digital camera. But I thought I should post something because it has been a while.

Although today is Valentines Day we decided it might be better to celebrate it on the weekend, so it wasn't a very eventful day. I told Bryce that all I really wanted was chocolate! So when I went to pick him up from football we stopped by a gas station and picked up a little bag of Hershey Kisses. Isn't that so sweet? I decided to get him something as well...so I bought him a Dr. Pepper at the same gas station! And we are okay with this...do you know why? Because for us every day is Valentines Day. =)

Other exciting news....um, Bryce got to go four-wheeling last weekend. I didn't go because I am a pansy. But he said it was a lot of fun. I should've sent the camera with him, but I guess we just forget that we have a camera. But I will add a few pictures we've taken lately just to make the post a little more exciting.

Happy Valentines Day to everyone!!

Here is the snow outside of our apartment. It never goes away. When it finally melts another storm comes in. I don't really like the it...

Long story short...we played hide and go seek one night in our apartment. I know...weird. This was Bryce's best hiding spot. I took a picture because I thought he did such a good job!

Philadelphia, PA

We are planning to go sell security systems again this summer. Well, Bryce will be selling. I will be working the office. But they found out this weekend that our office will be going to Philadelphia, PA! It will be a long drive out there, but we are excited and think it will pretty fun to visit the east coast.
Last summer we went to Chicago, which was great. Bryce did really well there and we hope Philadelphia will be good as well. Here are a few of our best pictures from our summer in Chicago.

Our New Blog!

So we have decided to create a blog! Actually, I decided to do it...Bryce really had nothing to do with it. But since we got a new camera for Christmas I figured this would be a good way to share our pictures and let everyone know what is going on in our lives.

We are both still at BYU. This is my last semester, which is very exciting! I will graduate in April. Bryce still has a few more semesters and then plans to go to PA school for another couple of years. He is still working as a student trainer with the football team this semester and has a full load of classes, so he stays pretty busy. I decided to graduate without doing my student teaching and so am just taking a few classes this semester.

We spent the holidays with both families. We stayed with Bryce's family on Christmas and then drove to Oklahoma to visit my family the day after and spent the rest of the break there. Here are a few pictures from the trip.

Bryce and Kathleen

Bryce and Jenny on New Years Eve. They look drunk but they're not. Bryce is just drinking Dr. Pepper.

Grace going for the ping pong ball and coming a little too close to hitting Jenny's face.

I added this because of Bryce's laugh. I thought it was funny.
